at a minimum my hope is that it will serve as a record of this little adventure and as a way for me to keep up with some of my favorite people - from those who i see almost daily to those with whom i've regrettably lost touch. plus - pictures! yeah!
given the post-election job search i'm undertaking and the much anticipated (intra-seattle) move later this month, it seems to make the most sense to focus on the free or cheap tasks first. to that end, today i signed up for postcrossing (#92), bought some cool "vanishing seattle" postcards, and sent three on their way. the first went to a housewife in kerken, germany. i told her that my all-time favorite meal is my grandma lutzenberger's roladen and spaetzle, so she knows i know what's up. the other two went to an eighteen year old girl in guangzhou, china and a bed-and-breakfast owner in provincetown, massachusetts. so cool.i also tried juggling (#26). as is my way of doing things, i jumped right in to see if it just, you know, came naturally - this was both laughable and dangerous. one spilled water glass and a peeved cat later i looked up some tips online. i think i'll get it by the end of next week.

Honestly, juggling just takes dedicating two or three consecutive hours to get the basic idea.
Also: the verification word I had to type to post my comment was "whordies."
So, how would you like to iceskate in Hawaii. Yes, we have an iceskating rink. I think that will add a little something to #27. It's safe to say you will fulfill #39 in December. I can also help with #75 & #80 then too!! See this is exciting cuz now I feel like I'm doing something.
Also, are these things you've NEVER done before, or just want to chronicle doing?
One more thing - this is super inspiring & I'm really proud of you for doing it ;)
Ok this Christmas we will go running together! and you WILL run a 9 minute mile!
This is pretty rad...I'm really pumped about 45-58 (because I'm a nerd of the arts). And I want to see the track lists of the mix cds - you should go WA style and put some RBF on them. Yes.
This is amazing Liz! Did you find this list somewhere or is it a personal list you'd like to accomplish?
thanks for the love guys! i created this list (with many revisions) over the last couple of months - it's a combination of things i've never done and things i'd like to do again or more of. nick - you're right, i just can't do more than 10-15 minutes at a time because i've discovered juggling makes me dizzy. lida - the more we get done in hawaii the better! charlie - i'm at ten minutes now so i'm close...right? how fast do you have to run it for field hockey? bianca - i hadn't thought of posting the track lists but that might be a good idea, especially if rbf makes the cut :)
Wait, have you never ridden a rollercoaster?
(And now I've commented. Are you happy?:P)
Ummmm, this is amazing!! Please sign me up as your tour guide for London and take me with you! And I suggest your spanish-speaking country be my homeland of Puerto Rico. I'm so proud!
